The view of the MSPN and MPN trees are virtually the same except the MPN Tree shows only MPNs and items below in isolation;
(1) Display PPM Breakdown – will launch a pop-up window to display the PPM values of substances within the MSPN
(2) View Legend – will launch a pop-up window to display an explanation of each grid icon for displayed verdicts
(3) Take action - will display all possible actions for selected item on the grid. These are the same actions as displayed by a RH click on the selected item
(4) Pop-out – will open the current view in a new window
(5) Verdict Refresh – will initiate a recalculation of all verdicts for the selected MSPN
(6) Search – Simple or Advanced searches can be carried out according to complexity of criteria. See sub-topics for further explanation of each

The left hand menu pane can be collapsed and then re-displayed at any time by clicking on the vertical Close button shown below
To re-display click on the vertical open button that is now locate on the very left hand side of the window.
