Updating the default system grid
Navigate to Administration > General and Security > System Default Grid Setup
Select the grid to update from the 'Grid Id' column drop down
Click Add New at the bottom of the grid to add a new field to appear by default when a user clicks 'Reset Grid' on their Tree view:
Grid Id - Select the grid to add the field to (e.g. BOM, Part)
Field Id - Pick from the drop down a field from the dictionary to add to the grid
Field Name - Leave blank
Field Description - Enter the name of the field that will be shown to users
Order - The order in which the field will appear in relation to other fields
Hidden? - Tick to make the field hidden by default
Width - Enter a width (e.g. 250 in pixels) for the column
Frozen? - Tick to make the field frozen to the left of the tree view by default
Click Submit
To edit or delete a field already on the default grid, use the pencil and trash icon in the toolbar:
Note: Any changes will not be seen by a user until they click 'Reset Grid' in their tree view
